All seven businesses run Google Ads campaigns under a single Manager Account (MCC) administered by the holding company's marketing team. Campaign types include Search, Display, and Shopping, tailored to each subsidiary's customer acquisition strategy. All campaign creation, bid management, and budget allocation are performed manually by authorized staff through the Google Ads web interface.
AR Holdings uses the Google Ads API exclusively for read-only consolidated reporting across all seven subsidiary Google Ads accounts. Our internal tool automates the daily extraction of campaign performance metrics — including impressions, clicks, cost, conversions, and return on ad spend — and writes them to a centralized internal dashboard for executive review.
Specific API features used:
1. Daily Performance Report — Uses GoogleAdsService.SearchStream to query campaign and ad group level metrics (impressions, clicks, cost_micros, conversions, conversions_value, average_cpc, ctr, cost_per_conversion) once daily at 06:00 UTC. Results are written to an internal Google Sheet.
2. Budget Utilization Check — Uses GoogleAdsService.Search to query campaign_budget resources (amount_micros, total_amount_micros) twice daily. Alerts the operations team via internal messaging if any campaign budget exceeds 90% utilization, enabling manual intervention through the Google Ads web interface.
3. Account Health Summary — Uses GoogleAdsService.Search to query campaign and ad_group_ad resources for status, approval_status, and review_status. Reports disapproved ads or policy violations to the operations team for manual resolution.
What this tool does NOT do: The tool does not create, modify, pause, or delete campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords, budgets, or bids. It does not use the GoogleAdsService.Mutate endpoint. It does not implement automated bidding, App Conversion Tracking, or Remarketing. It is an internal tool used exclusively by AR Holdings — it is not offered as a service to third parties.
Daily performance metrics from all seven accounts are consolidated into an internal executive dashboard. This enables the management team to monitor cross-portfolio advertising performance, identify underperforming campaigns for manual optimization, and track return on ad spend (ROAS) across all business verticals — without logging into each individual Google Ads account separately.
AR Holdings maintains a centralized technology stack that supports all seven businesses. Each subsidiary operates a MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) web application hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP App Engine). The technology team manages infrastructure, application development, SEO, analytics, and digital marketing operations centrally.
Our digital operations leverage Google Cloud Platform for hosting, Google Workspace for organizational communication, Google Analytics 4 for web analytics, Google Search Console for SEO monitoring, and Google Ads for paid customer acquisition across all seven business verticals.
